    Name: National Day of Prayer
    Date: May 2, 2019
    Event Description:
Community gathering to pray for our city and nation

The National Day of Prayer 2019 will be Thursday May 2nd .
This  “Call to Prayer” is held all over the United States to unite our nation to cry out to God.
Signed into law by President Truman in 1952 and updated later by President Reagan in 1988,
thousands gather each year to demonstrate their love for Christ and issues facing our nation.
This year  the Theme is “Love One Another” based on John 13:34.
Our community has participated for over 20 years in offering a place for folks to gather for
Prayer. This year is no exception.
Below are  2 locations for our community to assemble.
Prayers will be offered by pastors and others in crying out to God in repentance and direction
for our city, state and nation.
