    Job Description
    Reports To: President, Community Relations Manager 

    Schedule: The hours for this position may vary based on the event schedule. Most weeks it will be around 25 hours during normal business hours, plus working the community events on at least one Saturday per month.

    General Description: The TIC & Vendor Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all the details for the Tourist Information Center and all vendor relations for community events. The TIC and vendor coordinator is also responsible for helping the members and walk-ins, assisting the community, assisting staff members and in operating the office location in general.

    • Coordinate all vendors for community events both in preparation and the day of 
    • Prepare for, set up and work at community events (This can sometimes involve lifting up to 30lbs) 
    • Recruit and coordinate volunteers for the Tourist Information Center 
    • Maintain proper record keeping and submit necessary paperwork for the grants that fund the TIC 
    • Answer the main switchboard and direct inquiries to proper personnel. 
    • Direct walk-in inquiries and customer requests to proper personnel. 
    • Provide administrative (clerical) support to office staff. 
    • Maintain and balance petty cash fund. 
    • Input and maintain information into customer database programs. 
    • Coordinate meetings as needed by staff. 
    • Assist in the completion of projects, as required. 
    • Receive, prepare and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail. 
    • Order office supplies as needed 
    • Provide for general office housekeeping issues.
