     Paws for Reading with Tanner the Therapy Dog!
    Mondays, February 3, 10 & 24 6:00 PM
     
    Tanner enjoys listening to students read to him on the couch in the children’s area. Reading with Tanner can help children improve reading, communication skills, and build confidence. Tanner is an Australian Shepard Reading Therapy Dog certified by the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. For children of all ages.

    Wednesdays, February 5, 9, 26 4:00 PM
     
    Bonnie loves to snuggle up with anyone who wants to share a book and rub her back. You can find her on the couch in the children’s area. Reading with Bonnie can help children improve reading, communication skills, and build confidence. Bonnie is a Shih Tzu Reading Therapy Dog certified by the Alliance of Therapy Dogs. For children of all ages.

    Stories and interactive activities make up this engaging 30-minute program that highlights early literacy skills and encourages reading readiness and social interaction.  For children ages 2 to 3 years and their caregivers.

    After School Arcade
    Friday, February 21st at 4:30 PM
    Did you know that playing games in groups helps develop social connections, language skills, and technical knowledge? Swing by the library after school for an hour of Friday afternoon gaming. For adolescents ages 10-16.
     
     
    Teen: Art in the Stacks: Line Art
    Tuesday, February 25th at 5:00 PM
     
    TEENS! Bring your creativity and favorite book. We will be creating a masterpiece from a single line while discussing our favorite books. For teens in Grades 6-12. 
     
    Crafternoon: Stained Glass Mosaic
    Monday, February 3, 4:00 PM
     
    Elementary students and their families are invited to create a stained glass mosaic with simulated glass. The students will also explore the science of stained glass. For elementary students and their families.
    Crafternoon: Finger Puppets
    Monday, February 24th, 4:00 PM
