    Local High School Seniors Awarded Scholarships
    The Plant City Chamber Foundation honored six graduating seniors this month.
     
     
    Plant City, FL: The Greater Plant City Chamber of Commerce Foundation is the philanthropic branch of the Chamber. Its main function is ensuring our community’s bright future via supporting education initiatives locally. Each year, applications are extended to area high schools for the Chamber Foundation Scholarship Awards. These awards include six $1,000 scholarships to be used at the university or college of the student’s choice. Applications are reviewed and selected by Chamber staff, Chamber Board members, and Chamber Trustees.
     
    This year the following students were selected as scholarship winners:
     
    • Lily Batley, Plant City High School
    • Rebekah Clark, Strawberry Crest High School
    • Logan DiCerb, Strawberry Crest High School
    • Miguel Angel Gomez Martinez, Plant City High School
    • Abby Shaw, Durant High School
    • Katelyn Yarbrough, Plant City High School
