    Craft Night Out

    This month’s Craft Night Out will turn your winter blues into a night of fun.  We will be making snow globes! All supplies provided.  Registration necessary.  Funded by the Friends of the Bruton Memorial Library.  For adults only.
    Health Literacy 101

    What does it mean to be health literate? This free one-hour class will help increase awareness of and educate the group about health literacy-what it is, how to improve interactions with medical providers, and how to better understand information about your health.  Please call 813-757-9215 to sign up. 
    Author Visit: Tim Dorsey

    One of our favorites is returning! Tim Dorsey will be here to talk about his brand new book No Sunscreen for the Dead.  A hilarious local author, Dorsey will take us on a journey of his writing adventures and fill us in on how his characters came to be.  He will have his newest book available for early purchase as No Sunscreen for the Dead will not be released to the public until January 15th!
    Master Gardener-Hassle-Free Houseplants

    This delightful, educational, and humorous presentation covers the top hassle-free houseplants and includes information regarding light, water, and fertilizer. A must-see for houseplant lovers! Presented by the Master Gardeners of the Hillsborough County Extension Services. Participants are invited to bring a plant for the plant exchange afterwards.

    Movie Night: Look to the Sky

    From Brett Culp, the filmmaker behind Legends of the Knight, Look to the Sky weaves together the uplifting true stories of young people who have demonstrated the spirit of Superman. This feature-length documentary explores the power of hope and the importance of positive ideals, while encouraging viewers to find the superhero within themselves.  Runtime is 1 hour and 12 minutes.
