• Saint Leo University Earns U.S. News Honors for Online Bachelor's, Veterans Programs

    Saint Leo University today was named as providing two of the best online programs in the United States, according to the 2019 U.S. News & World Report’s Best Online Programs edition. While Saint Leo’s main campus is north of Tampa, FL, the university teaches students online around the world and at more than 30 campuses in seven states including in Lakeland. The university’s Flexible Learning EXperience (FLEX) allows Florida education center to enroll students in online programs that are not offered at their local centers.

    The Lakeland Education Center is at 315 Granada St., Lakeland, FL 33805, and serves students in Lakeland, Winter Haven, Haines City, and other parts of Polk County as well as Plant City in Hillsborough County.

    Saint Leo ranked 69th in the Best Online Programs for bachelor’s degrees, tied with the University of Cincinnati, University of North Dakota, and University of North Texas.  In addition, Saint Leo was named as one of 2019 Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans. The university recently celebrated its 20th anniversary of offering online education.
